My Past, My Future, My World, My Choice

Something so insignificant to some,
Laughable even,
Some might even find it worth mocking others about it.
Even though I know that, It feels to me like it doesn't matter what others think. Because even though I know that others might undervalue me, I still want to cherish this little thing.
To me you could say that it represents both my childhood and my future, where I hope I can still believe in such things like fantasy and magic.
It's thanks to those same beliefs that set me forth on this road to my future. A future where I can create wonderful things and somehow give to children a bit of that same imagination and belief that was given to me.
People will say that it's childish and that I should grow up. But you know what? I understand that, with some things in life, I will have to look at them from another perspective, an adults point of view, if you will. But this I will never give up and will never let it go. Because to me right now this defines who I am.
Believe me; I will never give it up.
No matter what everyone says.
